ZBIGNIEW KUBACKI SJ
Jesuit and Professor of Dogmatic Theology at the Pontifical Faculty of Theology in Warsaw, Poland. In the years 1995-1998 he did his doctorate studies in Paris at the Jesuit Faculties of Philosophy and Theology, Centre Sèvres, which he accomplished in February 1999 by defending his doctorate dissertation: “La nouveauté de Dieu. La question de Dieu dans la christologie de Joseph Moingt”. In October 2006, based on the book Jedyność Jezusa Chrystusa. O jedyności i powszechności zbawczej Jezusa Chrystusa w kontekście chrześcijańskich teologii religii. (The Unicity of Jesus Christ. On unicity and salvific universality of Jesus Christ in the context of Christian Theologies of Regions), (Wydawnictwo Rhetos, Warszawa, 2005), he gained D.Sc. degree (habilitation), and became Associate Professor. In 2016 he published another book in the filed of theology of religions: Kościoł, religie i zbawienie. O jedyności i powszechności zbawczej Kościoła oraz zbawczej roli religii niechrześijańskich (Church, Religions and Salvation. On unicity and salvific universality of the Church and the Place of Non-Christian Religions in the Plan of God), (Wydawnictwo WAM, Kraków 2016), and in 2018 a book Wprowadzenie do teologii religii (Introduction into the Theology of Religions), (Wydawnictwo Rhetos, Warszawa, 2018). He is also author of more than 70 scientific articles. His mains theological areas of research are: Christology, Trinitarian Theology, Theology of Religions and Interreligious Dialogue, Theological Anthropology. Since October 1999 he has been teaching theology at the Pontifical Faculty of Theology – Collegium Bobolanum in Warsaw. In the years 2007-2018 he was the Rector and Pro-Rector of the Pontifical Faculty of Theology in Warsaw. For more than 20 years he has been collaborating with the Jesuit Faculties of Philosophy and Theology, Centre Sèvres in Paris as a Visiting Professor.
